AIM Launches Offshore Diploma Partnership in Vietnam
The Australian Institute of Music is proud to announce its partnership with the Soul Institute of Arts (SIA) in Vietnam to develop regional musical talent.
Following the launch of its first Offshore Joint Program in Hangzhou, China, in October 2025, AIM’s latest collaboration with SIA, launching in March 2026, marks another pivotal step in AIM’s mission to support the development of musical talent across the Asia-Pacific region.

Founded in Ho Chi Minh City in 2012 by award-winning Australian-Vietnamese singer-songwriter Thanh Bui, SIA is dedicated to elevating music education in Vietnam and creating global study and career opportunities for emerging artists.

Students will engage in a broad range of performance and theoretical activities, including one-on-one lessons, collaboration projects in studio, multimedia and live performance environments, and key music theory development. Students will also learn about today’s global music industry, key trends and future opportunities.” – Julian Gough, AIM Head of Educational Engagement and Learning Design.

Successful graduates of the Diploma of Music will have the opportunity to transfer to AIM’s Melbourne or Sydney campuses with up to 24 Credit Points (equivalent to Year 1) towards the Bachelor of Music Theatre or the following Bachelor of Music courses:

The partnership has been met with enthusiasm from both institutions, highlighting a shared commitment to world-class music education and student opportunity.
