In order to address the demand for rhino horn in Vietnam – which is a key country where rhino horn is sold, SMPAA partners with the Wilderness Foundation Africa to implement a range of activities as part of a broader rhino horn reduction initiative in Vietnam.

The Forever Wild Rhino Protection Initiative project office is based at SMPAA, with a specific focus on reducing the use of and demand for rhino horn in Vietnam, as well as raising awareness on issues related to general wildlife crime. Through various activities, SMPAA’s staff, students and parents join forces to save the rhino. This is also our commitment to ensure that future Vietnamese generations have the full benefits, and the well-being, of protected landscapes and wildlife.
