Kindermusik’s curriculum

Kindermusik’s curriculum is built on research of psychologists, neuroscientists and experts of early childhood development. This research shows that music does more for children than bring them joy; it helps their brain cells make the connections needed for virtualy every kind of intelligence. When young children are consistently engaged by music in an age-appropriate, socially accepting environment, they benefit at many levels:

Levels

  • Foundation Cudle & Bounce (ages 4 motnhs to 1): Offer a sensory-rich yet caring and gentle environment where infants and young toddlers can explore and react to new sounds, sensations, objects and movements. 
  • Level 1 Sing & Play (ages 1 to 2): Provide toddlers with a stimulating setting to explore their new movement and language skills with a sense of security, comfort and confidence. 
  • Level 2 Wiggle & Grow (ages 2 to 3): Encourages older toddlers to initiate their own ideas, nurturing social-emotional growth and cognitive development in a playful, exploratory environment.  
  • Level 3 Laugh & Learn (ages 2 to 3): Encourages preschoolers’ natural love of music and activates their imagination, while developing their growing language and social-emotional skills.  
  • Level 4 Move & Groove (ages 3 to 4): Offer first experience of musical symbols and more advanced instruments, laying the groundwork for formal music instruction and ensuring school readiness. 
  • Level 5 Kindermusik for the young child (ages 5 to 6): Children have chance to approach musical notation through a variety of music and instruments, providing an outlet for children to explore new genres with the tools they need to succeed in future instrument-specific music lessons.
