RECAP: PERFORMANCE SKILLS WORKSHOP SERIES - SIA MUSIC FACULTY - SHINE WITH CONFIDENCE – SPREAD INSPIRATION

There are skills that take time to master.
But there are also qualities – like confidence, emotion, and the ability to connect with an audience – that can only be awakened when you truly live in the music.
With the desire to help our music students step into the spotlight not only with technical skills, but with heart and confidence, the Performance Skills Workshop Series was designed by SIA Music faculty as a unique learning journey – a space where students are heard, challenged, and empowered to tap into their inner performer.
From practical insights on overcoming stage anxiety and finding joy in piano practice for beginners, shared by Teacher Vương Huy Hoàng, to powerful techniques in breath control, vocal expression, and emotional storytelling through sound, delivered by Voice Actor Đặng Hoàng Khuyết - the voice behind hundreds of animated characters, who not only taught techniques but the artistry of conveying emotion through voice.
Strategic approaches in performance preparation – from practice to rehearsal to stage presence – led by Pianist Nguyễn Đức Anh, and real-world artistic perspectives on creativity, performance, and audience connection from International Artist Thanh Bùi and Singer-Songwriter Vũ Thanh Vân – inspiring figures who are shaping the next generation through their authentic stories and boundless artistic spirit.
Together, these workshops formed a powerful journey – not just inspiring, but equipping SIA music students with essential skills to express themselves and grow confidently on their artistic path. Each session brought students one step closer to becoming the artists they aspire to be – expressive, courageous, and ready to shine.
